OVERVIEW:
The Greenfield Community elementary school occupies a 5.6-acre site in Green Community Dubai Investment Park. The school comprises of a 2-storey building equipped with classrooms, computer room, laboratory, nurse’s room along with a dining room, kitchen and teachers’ lounge.

SCOPE OF WORK:

• The scope of work for this project included the construction of a 2-storey elementary school building equipped with a variety of classrooms, computer room, science laboratory, offices, lavatories, and a nurse’s room – which is connected via a bridge to the 2-storey dining building – which houses a dining room, kitchen and teachers’ lounge
• A gymnasium building which houses a 13m high gymnasium hall for indoor sports events, changing rooms, and pump room in the basement for the Fire Fighting system and the swimming pool
• A substation and general utility building for the school and a security gatehouse, all of which formed a total built-up area of 8,200m2.
• In addition to the construction of all of the buildings, ECC completed all the infrastructure work which included the laying of all pipes and cables along with the installation of their related manholes, all hard and soft landscaping work as well as the earthwork for the main entrance, tennis court, football pitch, and playground.
