The Architectural Heritage Society celebrated the 20th anniversary of the society's founding at the Intercontinental Hotel, Dubai.
The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Majid bin Saud Al Mualla, Head of the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Umm Al Quwain, His Excellency Qassem Sultan Al Banna, His Excellency Issa Al Maidoor, and His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director of the Department of Antiquities in Rass, Head of the Department of Antiquities, Intellectuals and the Society. The ceremony was opened with the national anthem of the United Arab Emirates, followed by the speech of Eng. Rashad Muhammad Bukhash, Chairman of the Board of Directors, the honorees' speech delivered by Mr. Abdul Shakour Tahlak, and the speech of the generations of tomorrow delivered by the student Fatima Ahmed Al Haram. For the urban heritage organized by the association every year, at the end of the ceremony, Sheikh bin Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum was awarded honorary membership of the Architectural Heritage Association. His Highness signed the new logo, and then His Highness honored the bodies that support and sponsor the activities of the association, the strategic partners, the founders of the association, and members of the board of directors innocently and members in the association's activities. As a result, Eng. Khader Al-Dah was honored as a distinguished and effective member of the association.
